We Go Places You Want To Go
TENNESSEE
East Tennessee is a wonderful place to retire. Our state allows you to live in comfort with a low cost of living and NO state income tax. Property tax is so reasonable, you will be asking if our yearly rate is a monthly rate.
We are centrally located to the majority of the United States, which means East Tennessee’s climate is ideal. There are no long cold winters or long hot summers. There is exceptionally low humidity, and we experience a taste of each season. If you have never been to the mountains in the fall, you are missing the beauty of nature’s palette.
There is convenient access to state-of-the art medical care and facilities in Knoxville, Nashville, Crossville, Cookeville, and Chattanooga.
Tennessee is the right place for entertainment. Our state has produced Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley, Tina Turner, and many, many more. We have the Grand Ole Opry, the Country Music Hall of Fame, Beale Street, Graceland, Dollywood, and multiple coliseums for concerts of all genres, and venues for local talents.
Tennessee has bragging rights on having the most visited national park in the United States. The Great Smoky Mountains is known for its plant and animal life, the beauty of the mountains, and the Southern Appalachian culture. You will find Cades Cove with historic cabins, black bears, and elk. Clingmans Dome with its viewpoints and hiking trails. Rainbow Falls Trail is for all the waterfall enthusiasts.
Tennessee offers so much outdoor adventure, whether you are in the national park or the surrounding counties. A top destination are the multiple waterfalls. Cumberland County has Ozone Falls where the 1994 live movie version of Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book used multiple scenes of the falls, caves, and rock structures. The movie also included Burgess Falls located in White County (picture below with kayaks).
The top two reasons people move here are "the beauty of the area" and "taxes". If you have never been to East Tennessee, you should definitely make time to visit. Our agents are happy to show you what you've been missing.
